About 78 cows have died of suspected meals poisoning at a government-aided cattle shelter in Rajasthan’s Churu district. Whereas these cows have died since Friday evening, a couple of others are sick, an official of the state’s Animal Husbandry Division stated in the present day.
Dr. Jagdish, Animal Husbandry Division’s joint director, stated prima facie the animals died of meals poisoning. The groups of the division are current within the cow-shelter positioned in Bilyubas Rampura village in Sardarshahar, he stated.
The fodder samples have been collected for testing, he added.
The loss of life of such numerous cows occurred on a day earlier than ‘Gopasthmi’, a pageant devoted to cows and Lord Krishna.
